ABOUT ABLE TALES
We didn’t set out to create another children’s story platform.
We created Able Tales because we believe the stories children hear shape the way they see themselves — and the world they will one day help care for.
Why we started
When the mind feels like a mazeFor years, we watched children move through increasingly fast and overstimulated days. We saw how little space was left for imagination, for silence, and for the slow, quiet work of understanding their own emotions.
At the same time, we saw parents carrying the weight of modern life — trying to stay present while feeling pulled in every direction.
We didn’t want to add more noise. We wanted to offer something different.
Able Tales began as a simple question: What if stories could help both children and parents return to themselves?
Born from years of working with children in the real word
Able Tales didn't start on a screen or in a boardroom. It started in forests, rivers, and mountains in Thailand.
Able Tales is part of Able To Regenerate, a regenerative education organization that has spent years running nature-based camps and immersive learning programs for children and families, currently operating in Chiang Mai and expanding to Krabi. Able is a certified National Geographic educator, and its programs combine social-emotional learning, project-based learning, and direct experience with nature to help children grow with awareness, resilience, and a real connection to the world around them.
Every year, hundreds of children have moved through Able's programs, learning not from lectures, but from rhythm, presence, and hands-on experience in nature. This is the same philosophy, the same values, and the same understanding of how children actually grow that shaped Able Tales.
We didn't build Able Tales because we thought we knew what children needed in theory. We built it because we've spent years watching what actually helps them in practice, and we wanted to bring that same care into the quiet moments at home.
Our Approach
We believe children are not projects to be managed. At Able, we see each child as a living ecosystem of potential. Not something to be optimized or filled with information, but someone to be tended — with rhythm, presence, and care.
That’s why our stories don’t lecture or rush to teach. They offer companionship. Through rich audio adventures guided by elemental companions — Flow, Flame, River, and Earthy — children are invited to explore their inner world in a way that feels natural and alive.

RIVER

EARTHY

These stories don’t just pass the time. They help children recognize their own emotions, build inner strength, and grow with a deeper sense of who they are.
We care for the whole family, not just the child.
We know that children don’t grow in isolation. They are deeply shaped by the emotional atmosphere around them.
That’s why Able Tales was built on Parallel Regulation — the practice of supporting both the child and the parent at the same time. While your child listens to their story, you have access to your own gentle audio track. Not to manage the moment, but to return to yourself. Because when you can soften, your child has a steadier place to land.
This is not about perfect parenting. It’s about creating small, honest moments where connection can return.
Rooted in nature and experience
We learn best when we feel it in our bodies. After each story, children are invited to engage with a physical grounding worksheet. Through coloring, drawing, and simple reflective activities, they bring what moved inside them back into their hands.
This is not an afterthought. It is a central part of the experience — helping children move from imagination into integration, and from feeling into understanding. We believe real growth happens when stories are not only heard, but felt and lived.
Able Tales is one part of a bigger vision.
Able Tales lives within a larger ecosystem of regenerative education. Many families who listen to the stories also join our nature-based camps, where the same values — rhythm, presence, emotional honesty, and connection to the natural world — are explored through real experiences in forests, rivers, and mountains.
Whether through stories at home or time spent in nature, our intention remains the same: to help children and families remember how to live with more imagination, steadiness, and care.
This is only the beginning.
We are building something that grows slowly and with intention — just like the children and families we work with. If this resonates with the kind of home and childhood you want to nurture, we're glad you're here.
